Imagine that you are doing a project “Life without gadgets” together with your friend. You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to tell the friend about the photos:

1. explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
2. mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of reading;
3. mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of reading;
4. express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you would like to live without gadgets and why.

Что говорить по каждому пункту плана в задании по говорению в ЕГЭ 2022

 Обязательно вступление (Иначе минус полбалла): Hi, [friend's name]. What's up! I have found these a couple of photos for our project. Seem to fit quite well = Привет, [имя друга]. Я нашел пару фоток для нашего проекта. Вроде вполне подходят. 

ЕЩЕ вариант вступления: Hey, [friend's name]! It is me, [your name].I think I have found a couple of pics for our project " Life without gadgets", and I'd like to discuss them with you. = Эй, [имя друга]! Это я, [ваше имя]. Кажется, я нашел пару фото для нашего проекта "Жизнь без гаджетов" и хотел бы обсудить их с тобой.

1. explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;;

Напомню: Описание должно быть напрямую связано с темой проекта! Причем можно упомянуть какие-нибудь сходства между картинками. Необязательно привязывать каждое предложение к теме проекта.

Здесь, как и на любых картинках, показаны действия, происходящие на момент нашего говорения. Поэтому можно использовать (в порядке возрастания сложности грамматики)

- Present Continuous . На пример: The girl in the second photo is reading an electronic book, which is an example of using a gadget for reading. Вторая, подчеркнутая, часть этого предложения, это вариант объяснения выбора картинок. Both girls are smiling. Probably they are enjoying reading the books. =Обе девушки улыбаются. Видимо, им нравится читать их книги.

-Complex Object with Participle I В нашем случае: In the first picture we can see a young lady holding a book, which illustrates how we can read without  gadgets. Вторая, подчеркнутая, часть этого предложения, это вариант объяснения выбора картинок

-Present Perfect для законченных действий (Probably, she has just found some important information for her studies in this paper book)

-Presnet Perfect Continuous для действий, которые длились какое-то время -часто не важно какое- и оставили после себя след в настоящем (Maybe, she has been searching for the book in the library's catalogue) или для действий, которые длятся какой- то период, связанный с настоящим  (Maybe she has been looking for the book for a long time)

- be going to V1 / be about to V1 - для предсказания того, что вот-вот должно случиться (Probably she is going to take the book home) или для повествовании о чьих-то личных планах (Perhaps, she is going to show us her digital library in her e-book)

-Complex Subject типа seem to be Ving / seem to have V3 /  be (un)likely to V1 / adjective to V1 / adjective to hav V3  (She is likely to take the book home/ She seems to be pleased with ther findings / The search for the book seems to have been long / She is happy to have found what she has been looking for)

А вот еще фразы (посложнее, если вы хотите впечатлить экзаменаторов) для обоснования подбора этих картинок под тему проекта:

-I think these photos are very 'illustrative of our project's  theme. Indeed, they show what we can substitute gadgets with, that is, good old paper books. And libraries are here to save our money on buying tons of paper books, which is also good for the environment. = Я думаю, эти фотки очень хорошо иллюстрируют тему нашего проекта. Они точно показывают, чем мы можем заменить гаджеты, а именно, старыми добрыми бумажными книгами. А библиотеки нужны чтобы сэкономить наши деньги на покупку тонн бумажных книг, что хорошо для окружающей среды.

-I think these photos are directly related to the topic of our project as they provide a representative example of gadgets for reading and how we can do without them. By providing these pictures we will demonstrate how we can get a diversion from gadgets without spending much money. = Я думаю, что эти фотки напрямую относятся с темой нашего проекта, т.к. они дают характерный пример гаджетов для чтения и того, как мы можем обходиться без них. Дав эти картинки, мы продемонстрируем, как мы можем отвлечься от гаджетов не тратя деньги.

2.  mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of reading

Внимание! Различия не должны быть банальным - сколько людей, какого они пола, кто во что одет, цвета и т.п. Сравнение должно быть проведено в аспекте темы школьного проекта, которая указана в самом начале. При этом надо обосновать выбор данных картинок как подходящих под тему проекта! Если различия не относятся к теме проекта, то можно создать "привязку"**. Можно дать 1 различие. НО лучше 2.

The first difference: The girl in the first picture,obviously, had to leave her home in order to obtain the book she needs, which the lady in the second photo  didn't need to do. **This implies that avoiding gadgets we have a more active lifestyle.[привязка к теме]=

Девушке на первом снимке, очевидно, пришлось выйти из дома, чтобы получить нужную ей книгу, а даме на втором снимке не нужно было это делать. **Это означает, что избегая гаджетов, мы ведем более активный образ жизни. Подчеркнутое предложение, это вариант оправдания выбора картинок

The second difference: The traditional paper book in the first image may be heavy,  while the  e-book in the second one is a compact high tech replacement for conventional paper records=

Традиционная бумажная книга на первом изображении может быть тяжелой, а электронная книга на втором — компактная высокотехнологичная замена обычным бумажным записям. 

Один из вариантов: As to the pros of each ways of reading. Reading a paper book is definitely* more comfortable as you can dog-ear pages and keep 2 pages open at a time without losing on font size. Besides*, you can easily make notes in it. It is an obvious advantage. As for an e-book, it is light and compact and, at  the same time, allows you to carry a huge library. = Что касается преимуществ и каждого способа чтения. Бумажный вариант определенно* удобнее читать, так как вы можете загибать страницы и держать открытыми по две страницы одновременно, не теряя на размере шрифта. К тому же,* в ней легко можно делать заметки. Это очевидный плюс. Что касается электронной книги, она легка и компакта и, в то же время, позволяет носить целую библиотеку с собой.

3. mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of reading;

On the negative side, reading traditional books can be uncomfortable because they are heavy and bulky. As for electronic ones, they are more expensive. Moreover*, they can run down and you need to charge them regularly=С отрицательной стороны, чтение традиционных книг может быть неудобным, так как они тяжелые и громоздкие. Что касается электронных книг, они более дорогие. Более того, они могут разрядиться и вам надо их регулярно заряжать. .

Из пояснений ФИПИ по поводу (1-2): " Экзаменуемый может выделить преимущества 2 объектов, или недостатки 2 объектов или преимущества и недостатки одного из объектов. В ЕГЭ 2024 года мы смотрим широко на этот аспект, учитывая новизну заданий." Тогда можно сказать. Both life styles have an obvious advantage: you develop yourself no matter if you  study only with paper records or with the help of e-books and other gadgets. Your horizons get widened, and you become more erudite. или There is an obvious shortcoming of both living with and without gadgets.The thing is, you strain your back sitting and reading or writing motionlessly, when studying.

Еще вводные фразы:

- Of these 2 ... each has merits and drawbacks.

-Each of...is a controversial issue. / controversial =Каждый из... -противоречивый вопрос. / противоречивый

*Не забывайте использовать вводные фразы, вводящие достоинства и недостатки! Иначе теряете балл!!!

4.  Express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you would like to live without gadgets and why.

Здесь нужно говорить о том, как удачно вы выбрали тему проекта/ какая она злободневная/ какие насущные проблемы она затрагивает/ как близка она вам и т.п.. А потом добавить свое отношение к жизни без гаджетов. 

-I personally couldn't imagine my life without....because... /wouldn't like to live without gadgets because they make many daily tasks easier for us - from telecommunicating with our friends to getting information on any questions. For example, I often use my smartphone to look up new recipies or find out the latest news. =

-Я лично не мог бы представить свою жизнь без....потому что.../не хотел бы жить без гаджетов, потому что они облегчают нам многие повседневные задачи - от общения по телефону с друзьями до получения информации по любым вопросы. Например, я часто использую свой смартфон, чтобы искать новые рецепты или узнавать последние новости.

-I, personally, find it hard to make a choice between ....and.... (когда трудно ответить однозначно) because ... But if I were to choose I would go with...

Заключение (без которого потеряете еще полбалла):

На наивысший балл от вас ожидают высказывание из 12-15 предложений. В среднем по 2-3 предложения на каждый пункт. Но не строго, можно больше.  И обязательно вступительную и заключительную фразы!

III. Итак. Выпишем один из вариантов полного текста анализа картинок:

Hi, [friend's name]. I have found a couple of photos for our project. Well..They seem to fit quite well.

In the first picture we can see a young lady in a library, holding a paper book, which illustrates how we can read without gadgets.The girl in the second photo is reading an electronic book, which is an example of using a gadget for reading. Both girls are smiling. Probably they are enjoying reading their books.As for distinctions. The girl in the first picture,obviously, had to leave her home in order to obtain the book she needs, which the lady in the second photo  didn't need to do. This implies that avoiding gadgets we have a more active lifestyle. At the same time, the traditional paper book in the first image may be heavy,  while the  e-book in the second one is a compact high tech replacement for conventional paper records. Obviously, the pics demonstrate differences between life with modern digital devices and life without them.

As to the pros of each ways of reading. Reading a paper book is definitely* more comfortable as you can dog-ear pages and keep 2 pages open at a time without losing on font size. Besides*, you can easily make notes in it. It is an obvious advantage. As for an e-book, it is light and compact and, at  the same time, allows you to carry a huge library.

Можно попробовать произнести его как можно быстрее, чтобы успеть скорректировать при повторном произнесении. Если вы не знаете, что говорить по тому или иному пункту плана, пропустите его и говорите дальше, отслеживая грамматику и лексику. Потом можно мысленно вернуться к трудным местам и подумать над ними еще раз.
